Upcoming Lecture: "The Return of the Goddess" by Yuho Shimizu
Based on the acclaimed book published by Natural Spirit

We are pleased to announce an upcoming lecture inspired by "The Return of the Goddess" by Tomokuni Shimizu, a profound work exploring the hidden layers of Japanese mythology and spirituality.

In this special session, we will journey into the heart of Japan’s ancient myths—meeting goddesses such as Amaterasu, Seoritsu-hime, and Nigihayahi—and uncover the spiritual messages they hold for us today.
Through these sacred stories, we will reflect on the rebirth of feminine energy and how it guides us toward rediscovering our true selves and living in harmony with nature.

Yuhou Shimizu’s work invites us to remember the wisdom of the Jomon spirit—deep reverence for life, the natural world, and the unseen forces that connect us all.
This lecture will also feature beautiful imagery of Japan’s sacred shrines and explore how these spaces awaken spiritual awareness and restore the soul.

Join us for a transformative exploration of mythology, identity, and spiritual renewal.

Details on date, time, and registration will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

Embark on a Journey of Discovery—Meet the Goddesses and Awaken Your True Self

Unveil the hidden mysteries of Japan’s ancient mythology—Amaterasu, Seoritsu-hime, Nigihayahi, and other forgotten deities.
Through these sacred stories, we propose a new era of the divine feminine—one that reconnects us with wisdom long buried.

At the heart of Japanese culture lies the spirit of the Jomon people—an ancient reverence for nature, harmony, and compassion.
Yet in the rush toward Western modernization, Japan gradually lost touch with these values, prioritizing economic growth over spiritual and cultural depth.

The path to restoring Japan—and healing the Earth—begins with a return to the Jomon heart: a deep respect for nature, a harmonious relationship with the gods and spirits, and a soul aligned with the rhythms of the natural world.

This book offers a clear and accessible introduction to Japanese mythology, including summaries of key myths and the stories of the major deities.

Shrines in Japan are sacred spaces that restore spiritual vitality and awaken the soul.
With over 200 breathtaking photographs of shrines and cultural treasures across the country, this book invites you to reconnect with your inner divinity.

"Mythology holds the wisdom of how to live, passed down from our ancestors.
It reflects the deep layers of the human psyche.
Rather than blindly worshiping or dismissing these myths, we must reinterpret them in a way that speaks to our present era.
In this book, I have summarized the key stories and deities for those unfamiliar with Japanese mythology.
Shrines are not just places of worship—they are gateways to altered states of consciousness,
where the energy of the Earth meets the awareness of the human soul.
Through my visits to shrines across Japan, I have come to see them as spiritual devices that awaken our true nature."

"Even today, mythology lives on within our souls.
By being born into this world, we have already embarked on a hero’s journey.
Like the protagonists of myth, we must meet the goddess, discover our true selves, and return home transformed.
In essence, life is a journey of rebirth—a path to remembering who we truly are."
